2011 Ethel and Samuel J. LeFrak School Graduation
On June 23, 2011, Lighthouse International held its annual graduation for The Ethel and Samuel J. LeFrak School. Over 50 students from four to five-years-old, including 30 visually impaired children, graduated from Lighthouse International’s universal pre-kindergarten in a heartwarming ceremony.
Family, friends and relatives packed The Academy Theater at Lighthouse International to hear the children sing songs and watch them receive their diplomas. The 2011 graduating class was the largest on record for The Ethel and Samuel J. LeFrak School.
At The Ethel and Samuel J. LeFrak School, children who are visually impaired learn alongside their sighted peers. The curriculum is designed to maximize learning and growth while children make new friends, enjoy creative activities, and discover new experiences in a safe and nurturing environment.
Congratulations to the 2011 graduating class. Lighthouse International wishes you all the best!
