On June 9, 2010, six young men and women were honored at the 2010 Lighthouse International Scholarship and Career Awards (SCA). Established in 1980 by Lighthouse International's Women's Committee, this time-honored tradition recognizes outstanding students who have overcome the challenges of vision loss by awarding them with scholarships for college and graduate studies. This year, the SCA recipients came from all walks of life. Through hard work, each award winner has excelled in their academic field while continually surpassing expectations. Lighthouse International is extremely proud of each winner.
