The 38th year of the POSH Fashion Sale was a Big Hit!
2010 POSH® Fashion Sale
The 2010 POSH event was a great success! The POSH Sale has been New York's leading fashion fundraiser for almost 40 years; and this year it's more exciting than ever! The 2010 sale included fashions for women, men and children from the likes of Manolo Blahnik, Burberry, Coach, Furla Classics Collection, Carolina Herrera, March Boutique, Nicole Miller, Bettye Muller, Tracy Reese, Joan Rivers, Rachel Roy, Theory, XOXO, and more! All of the proceeds benefited Lighthouse International’s mission to fight vision loss through prevention, treatment, and empowerment.
Leading up to the POSH sale, acclaimed fashion designer, Carolina Herrera, and 1stdibs.com founder and president, Michael Bruno, were honored at an exclusive kick-off benefit on Tuesday, May 11 in The Oak Room at the Plaza Hotel, New York. Coverage of the fashionable gala event was featured in the New York Times style section, Women’s Wear Daily, New York Social Diary and the Wall Street Journal. The POSH Sale kicked off with a preview sale on May 12, followed by the public sale from May 13-16. Coverage of the sale was featured in outlets such as NY1, Madison Avenue Spy, Vogue.com, Glamour.com and Fox 5’s Good Day New York.
