Legally blind since birth, Clark Richard Rachfal developed a love for cycling after attending a tandem development camp for the U.S. Association for Blind Athletes in 2006. Clark realized that tandem cycling could provide him with a competitive outlet and the ability to travel the world. After two years of training and competing domestically, Clark and his tandem racing pilot, Dave Swanson, made the 2009 U.S. Paracycling Team for both the Road and Track World Championships. Clark has also competed in the 2010 and 2009 UCI Paraclying Road World Championships.
