Ahkeem Coar is a graduate from Frederick Douglass Academy high school in Queens, NY. During the summer of 2011, he completed an internship at Givaudan, the global leader in the fragrance and flavor industry. Ahkeem worked with creative fragrance managers at Givaudan to test different modifications of fragrances. Currently, he is attending Medgar Evers College in New York City, where he majors in business administration. Ahkeem was diagnosed with Stargardt’s disease, the most common form of inherited juvenile macular degeneration. His goal is to manage and own a successful audio/visual production company.
