The collaborative project was initiated to teach students about the value of community service and the role that not-for-profit organizations play in the community. The children held a fundraiser, a Halloween carnival for the entire elementary school, and raised money which was then presented to the Music School for the purchase of choral music scores and transcription into large print and Braille.
