Caring For The Whole Person
We have an exciting new initiative to provide a range of services for older adults with impaired vision, including a program focused on homebound elderly in New York City. Through this Center, multidisciplinary healthcare professionals work together to evaluate a person's vision loss in the context of other medical conditions such as stroke, arthritis and osteoporosis, and to provide integrated care. The goal is to keep older adults safe and independent in their homes rather than in nursing homes.
