Lighthouse Career Services include:
Job training and placement assistance for those seeking employment
Job retention services for those who are currently employed and who may fear losing their jobs as a result of impaired vision
Instruction in basic office skills
GED preparation
Assistive technology training to ensure that participants are up-to-date on the latest hardware and software advances.
In addition, the Lighthouse works with employers to identify qualified candidates and to make worksite accommodations, ensuring accessibility for employees who are visually impaired.
