Mental Health and Social Services provide emotional support to help people - and their families - cope with vision loss at any stage of life.
Career Services enable people with vision loss to prepare for, obtain or retain a job. We also match employers with qualified candidates.
Orientation & Mobility Training helps people travel safely, take public transportation on their own, and prevent falls and injuries.
Assistive Computer Training in how to use computers, the Internet and other workplace state-of-the-art technologies.
Rehabilitation Services introduces safe, new ways to manage household tasks such as cooking, personal grooming, and managing medications and finances.
Occupational Therapy promotes a person's ability to independently participate in activities that bring meaning and purpose to their life. Evaluation and treatment is provided to help our clients overcome the effects of vision impairment as well as other types of physical and/or cognitive conditions.
The Diabetes Center helps people with diabetes-related vision loss through education and disease management.
The Geriatric Center of Excellence provides comprehensive care for older adults with impaired vision who also have other medical conditions, helping them to remain safe in their own homes -- or wherever they live in the community.
The Center for Education trains tomorrow's professionals and paraprofessionals in low vision care and vision rehabilitation through online and in-person continuing education classes.
The Arlene R. Gordon Research Institute advances our knowledge of how people who are visually impaired function in everyday life.
