You Can Help People Live Better with Vision Loss!
Match Your Talents with Our Volunteer Opportunities
A Long Legacy of Volunteerism
Lighthouse International was founded in 1905 by volunteers Winifred and Edith Holt who envisioned a brighter future for people without sight. Today, the Lighthouse is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to helping people of all ages overcome the challenges of vision loss. We now have a corps of more than 1,500 dedicated volunteers who are continuing the Holts' visionary legacy.
