New York, NY (April 18, 2008) - Kim Cattrall, Celebrity Chair for Lighthouse International's POSH Designer Fashion Sale, invites you to the hottest ticket in town, May 14th-17th at Lighthouse International. The POSH sale features clothes and accessories from such sizzling designers as Armani, Chanel, Dior, Prada and Jimmy Choo. Top social figures such as Renee Fleming, Norris Church Mailer, and Countess Milly de Cabrol have added their coveted donations to the mix, as well as celebrities Joan Rivers, Lauren Bacall and Matthew Modine.
New York's leading fashion fundraiser, and a highlight of the social season, the POSH sale kicks off with a Benefit Sneak Preview on Wednesday, May 14th, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lighthouse International on 110 East 60th Street. The sale continues for 3 days, May 15th-17th from 11a.m. to 7 p.m. Proceeds from POSH benefit Lighthouse International's services for people who are blind and visually impaired.
The sale features new and gently used clothing (from petite to plus sizes) as well as jewelry, hats, outerwear, eveningwear, furs and bridal gowns (for women, children and men) 50% to 80% less than the fair market price. Other designers featured at the sale include; Oscar de la Renta, Coach, Ralph Lauren, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Proenza Schouler and Roberto Cavalli, to name a few.
