The second annual POSH Interiors: the Home Sale will kick off on November 14, 2007 with an exclusive cocktail reception and shopping opportunity. The sale will open to the general public November 15th and 16th at 11 a.m. at Lighthouse International, 110 East 60th Street (Park & Lexington Avenues) New York City.
What POSH (now its 36th year) is to fashion, POSH Interiors will be to your home, offering a wide array of new and gently used high quality items at deep discounts. Items include fabulous furnishings, estate finds and exquisite treasures ranging from furniture, rugs, paintings, mirrors, fabrics, lighting and tabletop to bedding, linens, draperies home accessories and collectibles donated by decorator showrooms, retailers, individuals and the designers themselves. Prices start as low as $5 and go up to $5,000 with hundreds of exciting items in the $100 to $500 range.
Experience signature vignettes created by visionary designers from donated merchandise - and all for sale. Visionary designers include: Geoffrey N. Bradfield, Carol DeBear, Sandra Harding, Jeffery McCullough, Richard Piemonte & Angela Gridelli, Ann Pyne & Betty Sherrill, Susan Rosenthal & Linda Menut, Denyse Schmidt, Matthew Patrick Smyth, Marlaina Teich, Michael Walter & Rosa Szule and Susan Zises Green. There are also donations from such well known interior design names as Agostino Antiques, Brunschwig & Fils, D. Porthault, Kravet, Julia Gray Ltd., Stark Carpet Corporation and Suzanne Golden Antiques.
"Last year's event sold out in the first day and a half so we knew had to make this year even bigger, better and more extensive, " states Mady Schuman, Senior Vice President for Development for Lighthouse International.
Thanks to Founding Corporate Partner, The Padded Wagon, all donated merchandise has been picked up and delivered to the Lighthouse free of charge. Honorary Chairs Iris B. Apfel and Mario Buatta will be on hand along with event co-chairs Scott Burdette, David Duncan and Harry Hinson.
