"Josephine Defini lost her eyesight when she was 10 years old, but that didn't stop her from getting her doctorate at NYU. Yesterday, she attended a broadcast of the inauguration of Gov. David Paterson, who is legally blind. The event was held in a theater here at Lighthouse International, the 103 year-old non-profit serving the visually impaired."
