Coast to Coast: Cultural Influences on Adapting to Vision Loss

Become an Advocacy Partner and Share One Voice!

Lighthouse International is gearing up for the 111th Congress, which is set to take office in January 2009, and we need your help! We are seeking advocacy partners to assist in influencing federal policy related to vision loss.

As a partner, you will receive important action alerts about federal policy impacting the low vision community. In order to maximize advocacy efforts, we must all speak with one voice -- and you will be asked to take specific action, such as calling or e-mailing federal representatives to ensure that our interests are heard. If you or your organization is interested in partnering with the Lighthouse, please sign up at lighthouse.org/advocacylist or call (212) 821-9485.

Thank You!

We are especially grateful to the Wallerstein Foundation for Geriatric Life Improvement for its generous and steadfast commitment in support of Sharing Solutions, benefiting thousands of people with impaired vision nationwide. Our special thanks go to Rosalind Scheer for being the voice of Sharing Solutions on tape for 15 years!
