Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing all mailroom activity along with other Office Service Tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee delivery from post office, mail to be sorted by floor
- Coordinate hourly deliveries to all Lighthouse floors with US and interoffice mail
- Place calls to messenger service for local deliveries
- Process packages for UPS, DHL, and Fed Ex pickup
- Assist in special copy jobs from other departments
- Perform light duty maintenance in the lobby area
- When necessary maintain the restrooms on all floors
- To assist with our Maintenance Department upon request
- To make outside deliveries as needed
Requirements: Responsible for all mailroom activity along with general office service tasks.
Education: High School Diploma.
Work Experience: 5+ years of work experience in mailroom and an office service environment.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Nurse practitioners is an autonomous, community based, health care practitioner whose scope of practice involves providing vision health care services to individuals, families and to communities. The Nurse practitioners works in collaboration with an Ophthalmologist to conduct home health assessments that include: vision screening, visual functioning, and coordination of rehabilitation and social services for the homebound elderly.
Lighthouse International will be providing training and education to the NP's about vision health care service, care treatments and diagnosis. After training and education you will be able to conduct: vision screening, visual functioning, and coordination of rehabilitation and social services for the geriatric population.
The Nurse practitioners work will focus on health promotion, maintenance, disease prevention and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases and serves as the specialty care provider and consultant in a home and community based settings.
Requirements: Masters Degree with Adult or Geriatric NYS Certification

Position: Director, Direct Marketing and Operations

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the the Senior VP of Development , the Director holds overall responsibility for an integrated annual giving strategy utilizing direct mail, giving club membership, e-giving, and matching gifts/workplace programs. With two direct reports, the position oversees the full-service direct mail consulting firm, manages development operations in support of revenue objectives, and supervises database and stewardship procedures.
The Director needs to be a seasoned nonprofit direct mail specialist with a proven track record of augmenting a direct response program and meeting and exceeding goals in a complex organization. 7-10 years of experience; expertise in database management (Raiser's Edge) and e-fundraising is critical. Strong analytical and communication skills a must; College degree required.
